Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 13, 2026
BLINDRANK (“the game,” “we,” “us”) is a free online game at blindranks.com. This policy explains what limited information the site handles. We built it to collect as little as possible.
What we don't collect
- No accounts, sign-ups, passwords, or email collection.
- No advertising, no third-party trackers, and no third-party analytics services.
- No tracking cookies. The site does not set cookies for advertising or profiling.
- We do not sell, rent, or share personal information.
What the game handles
- Display name: the name you type to play is shown to others in your lobby and kept only in the server's memory for the duration of that game session. It is not stored after the session ends and is not linked to your identity.
- Gameplay data: your tier votes are processed in real time to run the game and are discarded when the round ends. Votes are not revealed to other players.
- Anonymous usage count: we keep a simple, aggregate tally — how many games have been played overall, and roughly how many people are playing at a given moment — so we can understand how the game is being used. This is a plain count for our own reference. It is never shared, is not tied to your identity, and is not built from cookies or any identifier we store about you.
- Server logs: like virtually all websites, our server may automatically record standard technical information — including your IP address, browser/user-agent, and request timestamps — to operate, secure, and debug the service. These logs are not used to identify or profile you and are retained only as long as needed for operation and security.
Third-party content
Images and subjects are pulled from Wikimedia Commons and Wikipedia. When images load, your browser or our server contacts Wikimedia, so Wikimedia may receive standard request information (such as an IP address) as part of delivering that content, governed by the Wikimedia Foundation Privacy Policy. Image authors and licenses are credited within the game.
Children
The game is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
Your choices & rights
Because we don't maintain accounts or store personal profiles, there is little personal data to access or delete. Depending on where you live (e.g., the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA), you may have rights regarding any personal data in our server logs. To make a request or ask a question, contact us below.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
